Concerning Christian

This blog is largely concerned with Christian Alf and from its posts you, dear reader, may discover much of his character, thoughts, concerns, and adventures. Christian currently sojourns with his wife and children in Georgia. Though they have a merry hearth and home, they await the day when they will set brick and timber and craft their last homely house.

Concerning Alf-lore and History

The writings contained herein are not a biography or memoir. Therefore, I will not drone on about the birth and history of Christian and his family. However, key accounts and events might make it into posts and essays.

Concerning Religion

The written word cannot be divorced from the worldview through which is was created. Christian's worldview is based on the Bible and is strengthened by his convictions as a Reformed Baptist. He holds to and affirms the Second London Baptist Confession of Faith (1689).

Jesus Christ is Lord over all things. Everything was made by Him and through Him and for Him.

One day, dear reader, you will stand before your God and maker. You will be accountable for every word, thought, and action. You will give an account of your actions on the internet today, and I will give an account for every word I have written on this site. My desire is to be faithful to the biblical standard. As such, all the views and opinions expressed on this website are solely my own.
